Michael farber, VICE PRESIDENT
Mike is an entrepreneur with over three decades of diverse business experience growing startups in the Philadelphia metropolitan area. Mike founded BioStream Technologies in 2015 based on his strong belief in the power of for-profit social impact businesses to solve big problems and enact positive change.
Prior to founding BioStream Technologies, Mike co-founded Trend Integration where he served as President for nearly a decade. Trend Integration leveraged advances in technology to create an innovative process for capturing verbal and nonverbal response data from diverse groups of individuals, delivering the data to clients in a user-friendly format via a proprietary web-based interface, and enabling clients to evaluate and manage the response data. Clients like the Federal Government, JetBlue Airways, AAA, and Towers Watson used Trend Integration’s suite of solutions to screen millions of job candidates.
Mike’s ventures have also included TechTracer Systems, a staffing company focused on placement of science and IT professionals, and The Change Club, a non-profit organization providing free consulting services to other charitable organizations. Earlier in his career, Mike operated his own law practice in New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
Mike holds a Bachelors of Science Degree from the School of Management at Babson College and a Juris Doctor from Suffolk University Law School. He is an avid sports fan and health enthusiast, and he enjoys travel, skiing, and music. He has also served as a volunteer basketball coach at the middle school and high school level with two championships to his credit.
