Thomas McCaffery, General counsel
Thomas McCaffery is a technically trained, business-oriented attorney and executive with international experience in pharmaceuticals, healthcare, logistics, e-health, intellectual property, commercial, bankruptcy and regulatory law in organizations ranging from start-up to multi-billion dollar corporations. In addition to his 15 years’ experience as General Counsel, he has also been a Chief Compliance Officer, Chief Sales Officer and Chief Human Resources Officer. As a career inhouse counsel, Tom had roles that were both board-level strategic and grassroots tactical, acting as an integral team member and leader at Merck, GSK, AstraZeneca, Johnson & Johnson and Cardinal Health. Tom received a BA from The Johns Hopkins University, a Master of Engineering from the University of Delaware , and his J.D. from Rutgers University School of Law. He was awarded a U.S. patent for original research while at University of Delaware.
